Charm #006: Jigglypuff (Pokemon)

Medium: Polymer Clay (Sculpey III brand) & Acrylic paint

Colors Used: Ballerina clay. White, Black, and Sky Blue paint.

I think I made the arms way too big (and the entire proportions are out of wack XD) but hey I just started making this stuff so it isn't exactly going to be the prettiest stuff around.

Medium: Crayola Colored Pencils

I chose to use Crayola over my pack of Prismacolors (which I adore very much) because of the amount of color options I have with each one. I only have a 24 pack of Prismacolors because I don't have the money to afford a bigger set so I went with Crayola that I have 50 colors to work with. Unfortunately, even with the Crayolas, I still could not achieve the perfect color for Yggdrasill's wings.

Oh well, this is supposed to be a bad art blog after all...

Happy Valentine's Day

Here's a special posting in honor of Valentine's Day. Now, I may not care too much for the romantic holiday but I will use any excuse to get myself baking for my coworkers.

So here it is, my Valentine's Day cake:

After adding conversation hearts.

After finished decorating with candy (cherry M&Ms).

The cake itself is just Devil's Food cake with vanilla icing, nothing too special. The real enjoyment for me comes from decorating the cake (well, make that second because firstmost is actually eating the cake).

Charm #004: Hanami Dango

Colors Used: Ballerina, White, Leaf Green, and Tan

 Unfortunately, when I applied the glaze, it made the original smile on the pink dango disappear so I had to repaint it. And, it wasn't as clean as it was the first time. Oh well...
