Tales of Symphonia Tarot: Temperance

Medium: Crayola Colored Pencils

Sorry for the delay. I had a heck of a time trying to find reference pictures to make sure the colors I picked matched up in the right areas.

I ran out of the color that I was using for the border in the previous tarot cards so I had to switch to another color.

I chose to use Crayola over my pack of Prismacolors (which I adore very much) because of the amount of color options I have with each one. I only have a 24 pack of Prismacolors because I don't have the money to afford a bigger set so I went with Crayola that I have 50 colors to work with. Unfortunately, even with the Crayolas, I still could not achieve the perfect color for Yggdrasill's wings.

Oh well, this is supposed to be a bad art blog after all...

Not too long ago, I had finished my second playthrough of Tales of Symphonia, a couple years after my first one. This ended up reawakening my obsession with this particular title in the Tales of series and I thought of creating a tarot deck featuring the Major Arcana using Tales of Symphonia characters.

As of the moment, I have half of the deck drawn as a marker outline and only a handful colored. I plan on making a post each Friday with a new one (until I finish the Major Arcana) so stay tuned for more!
